The man-made global warming theory has no supporting evidence, only computer models that have been wrong over and over again.
However, if you still happen to be an anti-carbon dioxide enthusiast because it has been repeated ten million times and beaten into your head since (or even prior to) birth, you will definitely want to take a look at this Ted Talk with Dr. Graham Conway. He is your kind of guy.
He shows that an electric vehicle capable of going 400 miles before you have to stop and recharge emits MORE carbon dioxide AT ANY POINT IN ITS ENTIRE LIFETIME than a gasoline powered car!
WHAT??? How is this possible? What about “zero emissions”?
For starters, it takes energy to make a car, and that energy comes from power plants that use a significant proportion of coal and natural gas. So a lot of CO2 has already been emitted at mile zero when any car is brand new. Now here is the clincher: it takes more energy to make an electric car due to the batteries. Then as time goes forward, those same power plants are providing the electricity every time you charge the batteries. From the time you start using the EV, it does emit less CO2 per mile driven, but it can never make up for the initial emissions required to make the car.
Well, there you go. The whole thing is…..SURPRISE! ANOTHER LIE designed to manipulate your well-intentioned love of nature for the purpose of making certain people rich and powerful. ALWAYS follow the money.
